Your Auricular Prosthetics Journey

  1. Initial Consultation During your first visit to our relaxed and friendly clinic room in Rochford, we'll assess your needs and determine whether traditional impressions, digital scanning, or a combination of both will achieve the best results for your specific case.

  2. Planning & Impression Stage Depending on your individual needs, we'll either:

  • Take traditional physical impressions using proven techniques
  • Create digital scans using advanced technology
  • Or combine both methods for optimal accuracy
  1. Design and Creation Out of clinic the prosthetist harmoniously blends:
  • Traditional hand-crafting expertise
  • Digital design precision
  • Manual artistic detailing
  • Technical accuracy
  1. Wax trial and colour match The second appointment involves trying on the wax prototype of your prosthesis to assess gross structure and fit. This is adjusted until you are happy with the overall appearance and positioning. A custom colour match is expertly conducted with you to produce your own uniques palette of coloured silicone ready for packing into your mould to produce your prosthesis.
  2. Fitting and Refinement We meticulously adjust your prosthesis where necessary, including any extrinsic hand-painting (permanent colour) to ensure perfect fit and seamlessly blended appearance.

  3. Aftercare Support Comprehensive support to maintain your prosthesis is available by appointment whenever you need it.
